Olde School Commons Senior Living Apartments (1BR)
About the Community
Olde School Commons is a relaxing, friendly, yet vibrant one-bedroom apartment community for low-income residents age 55 and over. On the main floor of our main building, the Commons Room has several tables and chairs, upon which card games, resident meetings, and even a weekly Bible study occur. The American Legion has regular meetings there, as several of our residents are Veterans. There is even a kitchen attached, so residents can reserve the room and hold small get-togethers.
In this main building are couches, a small TV, a combination VCR/DVD player, and hundreds of movies for our residents to enjoy. You can reserve or schedule small events, game nights, meetings, or other small get-togethers through our office, by way of the Community Calendar, which is published monthly.
Also in the main building resides our rental office, and further back into the lobby, the mail center for all residents. We share this building with the Garner Performing Arts Center (a separate entity).

About the Town of Garner:
Garner is a growing community of approximately 26,000 residents. Not in the bustle of our capital city, although Garner provides a relaxed, small-town feel, it’s just 8 miles from the cultural venues, attractions and events in the historic center of Raleigh.
With the increasing population and residential growth, Garner continues to flourish in business and service establishments. With steady development planned, town officials predict that the town will continue to grow at a rapid rate.
